Jesus

He didn't just die my deserved death -

He lived the life I couldn't live

Born pure and Holy 
No sin did He commit
Living in obedience

He completely abstained from it

It's a wonder and a joy to know
That because of Jesus, my sin has been dealt with

And yet, I still have responsibility

For how I make my choices

I can't just do whatever I want knowing I'm covered by grace

No I need to love righteousness and hate evil

To become more like Christ and be light to people

Who maybe haven't experienced God's love
Or had the chance to understand truth

My life, how I live, needs to be the proof,

That I truly believe in Jesus as the Son of God

Not just and a good man

Living as a true follower
Not simply a fan of Christ

He was the perfect fit to redeem us

Both man and God displayed in Jesus

Can we take a second to just appreciate, to accept, to breathe in and just realise

How truly blessed, how privileged, we as humans are.

That we, although broken, can be pieced back together

Restored to unity with God both now and forever

Tell me how?

Jesus

He is so good, so great, He is to be so highly praised

So I won't celebrate Jesus just for one day once a year

I'll celebrate Jesus everyday for all to hear

Because what else is there?

In Jesus lies Hope, Freedom, Peace

Things that every single human needs

And I want to be someone who helps people to see that need
To reach out to God, to be set free

To smash down the barriers, get them out of the way

Come to Him and say

I simply need your grace
That's the prayer that I have prayed
My decision to follow Jesus has been made
And that true gift of Christmas is available for you too!
Accepting the offer is all you have to do
That offer's there not because it's Christmas

But just because it is today
So my question is... Will you choose to follow Jesus?

He's the One who saves.
