I hope that what I post here and what you read may in some way encourage, challenge, inspire, or simply interest you... The Week 1 - 21 posts are a series dedicated to EXCEL School of Performing Arts Tour 2015. It's impossible to capture the whole experience, but here I choose to share at least one thing I learnt in each week of XLTT15.

Graduation EXCEL 2014

I haven't written any blog posts about my life experiences recently so uh...

I GRADUATED!

EXCEL Graduation was such a fun time! We put on a whole show for our friends and families that included everyone at EXCEL 2014. We performed dances, dramas and songs from throughout the year before walking across the stage to receive our Certificates. It was held at the Bruce Mason Centre in Auckland - a massive theatre. It is such a cool place and was a total privilege to perform there!

Super star dressing room!
Drama Majors performing 'The Applicant'
Our physical theatre STORM piece

I was the first person to walk across the stage and received my
Certificate of Performance in Drama!!!
The whole whanau.
First and second year students joined together for our finale song - Covered.
A truly beautiful and memorable moment to be sure!
The beautiful Koia Tomlinson and myself.
Dressing up all fancy was good fun!
So there you have it. First year of EXCEL School of Performing Arts has been completed. And what a year it's been! There were times when it was super challenging and hard for different reasons... I had my doubts. But despite that, I really did enjoy the journey. Even the struggles. I'm so thankful to God for leading me into this and for guiding me all along the way. I'm so happy I passed and graduated and got to share such a beautiful Graduation show with some of the coolest cats on this planet. Praise to God!
