Another original poem I penned recently...
In my grief
And in my pain
Jesus is there
To give me peace again
He stills my heart
He holds my hand
He renews my strength
Takes me from the sand
And places me on
The sure foundation
On the Rock I stand
In no condemnation
But alive and set free
With a heart rid of guilt
With a soul sure and steady
With my life being built
Up in power and in might
Set and ready in this fight
It's a battle, it's a war
But I know I'm fighting for
The winning side
Lead by the King of Kings
He's there when I cry
And when my heart sings
Jesus is Lord
Even in my sorrow
And His mercies will be new
When I awake tomorrow.
